Recently, I came across a short video on Twitter/X of a female “pastor” attempting to re-interpret the Bible in support of her radical feminist view. Of course the gymnastics she had to do in order to make this re-interpretation happen were humorous at best and chilling at worst.
What struck me wasn’t the downright degrading of God’s Word or the heretical views she stood in support of, but what you couldn’t see on camera. I immediately thought of all the men and women sitting there in the pews allowing this to happen.
How could a church fall so far? How could we allow such clear and shocking heresy to infect the church? Of course the answer is simple; today’s man prefers a much simpler and shallower life. They don’t dig into the Word. They don’t lead their wives or their families. But they should.
If anything’s clear from that video, it’s this: men are needed now more than ever. Men, where have you gone?
